Converting Recycled Bottles into Flower Hanging Pots

Plastic bottles are part of modern life. People usually throw them away after drinking and generate lots of trash. However, you'll be amazed how useful they could be in the garden!

Look at the colourful flower hanging pots. They are all made of used plastic bottles. Our pupils cut them into half, painted them with layers of colours and then hanged them up using strings and hooks. Just lovely!

Decorating Plants with Recycled Bottles

Do you see a rainbow round the plant? It was made of colourful recycled bottles! The teachers and the pupils coloured the plastic bottles before using them as a plastic fencing round the plants.

Painting the Concrete Slabs

The pupils were painting the concrete slabs in the garden.Hey, did you notice something? Weijian, Nelson and Tiffany looked so calm and peaceful, no more the chatty ones we saw in class. I think Ms Ong was right, painting is really an effective therapy.

Thanks guys, for coming to help during the school holidays. With the lovely flower hanging pots, the beautiful plant decorations, and the colourful concrete slabs, you have definitely made a difference to our Garden!
